Your tutorials online are how I found you... then on to your other site...

but now that you have this one:

Could you do a tutorial on the various video settings for different types of cameras?

24P , consumer DV, consumer / prosumer HD and DV, interlace ...
I can edit - although I prefer to focus on other parts of production...like TAPING (0= Where the action is!!!)

But I can't seem to find a decent tutorial on the proper A/V or system settings in FCP when dealing with FCP.

I had video in my system that looked nice and clear. Once I had to reinstall FCP the settings got changed to default and now my video doesn't look so great. I hadn't changed my settings in years prior to this re-installation of FCP.

Oh and lastly- Can you do a tutorial on removing bG noise like the "hum" from a laptop or camera , or tape hiss from a tape recorder? ... I tried to use STP's "set noise print" .. and it only worked ok, same with "remove hum" filter in FCP...

This is a laundry list... but I'll graciously accept what ever tuturial you are willing to share...

Stay cool for school.

Thank you, gnxmusic, and you're welcome. :)

Yes, as far as I know, Final Cut Express allows you to create custom layouts.

They REALLY make a difference when it comes to speed and workflow.

I did notice on my FCP that depending on the resolution I'm running my monitor on, they will give me more or fewer options, so look into that as well.

Cheers! :D
